Mixed culture double barrel aged sour red lager with fruits & spices.

This cocktail-inspired Flemish Red started as a soft, nuanced rotbier which was aged in 20yr French Oak Cognac barrels with mixed cultures before the batch was transferred straight into Sazerac Rye barrels. The batch was then refermented in steel with black cherries, mission figs, orange peel, vanilla beans, and a blend of herbs and spices to emulate cocktail bitters.
